My photographic education began at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I received my BFA in Photographic Illustration concentrating in Advertising Photography. RIT and my time abroad studying fashion photography in Prague and London, really shaped my photographic style. From there, I moved to New York City and worked at Coach, photographing everything from handbags to scarves, and in J.Crew's fashion studios.

Art has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember, starting with crayons and moving through acrylics and oils. That experience of creation, looking at light, seeing tone and judging composition prepared me for photography. And it continues to allow me to grow. My work has been defined as clean, elegant, and romantic with a feel of blending the old with the new to create something fresh yet timeless. The colors are crisp and the tones feel real, true to the moment.

I create images that emphasize an energy by concentrating on emotion, movement and telling a story. My style fuses several elements, including an editorial fashion sense, a taste for distinctive colors and textures, a natural & relaxed shooting approach.
