About

STYLE & EDUCATION

Art has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember, moving through acrylics and oils to photography. That experience of creation, looking at light, seeing tone and judging composition prepared me for composing photographs in camera. And it continues to allow me to grow. My work has been described as connected, vibrant, and captivating. My goal is to create something fresh yet timeless with thoughtful tones, movement, and expression. I strive to emphasize energy by concentrating on emotion, movement, and light. My style fuses several elements, including an editorial fashion sense, a taste for distinctive colors and textures, a natural & relaxed shooting approach.

My photographic education began at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I received my BFA in Photographic Illustration concentrating in Advertising Photography. RIT and my time abroad studying fashion photography in Prague and London, really shaped my photographic style. From there, I moved to New York City and worked at Coach, photographing everything from handbags to scarves, and in J.Crew's fashion studios.
